(New York, NY) The Radio City Christmas Spectacular lives up to its name with the addition of a stunning indoor blizzard of snow, thanks to the special effects magic of MagicSnow Systems.
MagicSnow joins America’s ‘grandest holiday tradition’ by transforming the interior of Radio City into a living snow globe for two of the show’s snow themed numbers.
Over one million people will be dazzled by the choreographed snowfall that fills the house and dances high over their heads.
As the snow drifts down, the audience will be able to touch and play with the vanishing flakes of snow, bringing this beloved holiday spectacle off the stage and into the audience.
The customized installation was designed for Radio City Music Hall in an exclusive agreement with MagicSnow Systems.
Unlike the messy flakes of plastic or paper commonly used by Hollywood movie studios, MagicSnow falls on cue and disappears like magic, making it safe and suitable for audience participation; indoors or out.
With dozens of projects across the US and abroad, MagicSnow is the most trusted provider of large scale special effects snowfall events for entertainment venues and shopping centers worldwide.
The Radio City Christmas Spectacular, starring the world famous Radio City Rockettes begins November 3, and runs for 217 performances through January 2, 2005.SOURCE: MAGICSNOW SYSTEMS, LLC
